EnergyPro - World Class Building Energy Analysis Software

State of the art energy analysis

EnergyPro is the most capable building energy analysis program in the world. It can be used with equal benefits on both residential and non-residential (commercial) buildings of all types. The software allows for entry of any type of building and for virtually all types of cooling and heating equipment, including variable refrigerant flow (VRF) technology and thermal energy storage (TES). Along with HVAC operating costs, EnergyPro also calculates miscellaneous building energy uses such as outdoor lighting, domestic hot water, pumps, and more. EnergyPro is used to show compliance with ASHRAE 90.1, LEED, California's Title 24 and various other energy rating systems.

Limitations

EnergyPro can't handle more advanced energy concepts such cogeneration, daylighting, and off-site steam/hot water production. In these cases is necessary to use also the DOE-2 program and model the basic building in EnergyPro, generate the DOE-2 BDL file, and then manually edit the BDL file to add these features.
