Brief Project Description<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t

The project included comprehensive planning<\/strong> of a cooling<\/strong> system reconstruction for a data center. In the first phase, a feasibility study and conceptual design were prepared, analyzing existing conditions, future technological needs, and possible cooling concepts.<\/p>\n

Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t

The core challenge was ensuring extremely high system availability while accommodating increasing heat loads from new generations of high-density IT and telecommunications equipment.<\/p>\n

The system had to operate continuously (24\/7), allow maintenance without service interruption, and meet stringent redundancy and diversity requirements. Phased replacement of existing systems during continuous operation was also a major challenge.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Solution and Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t

A new central cooling architecture was designed addressing availability, redundancy, and diversity. The system is designed with N+2 redundancy, ensuring very high reliability and operation during component failures or maintenance. This meets Tier III requirements according to Uptime Institute methodology (\u224899.98% availability).<\/p>\n

The central plant supplies chilled water to CRAH units in technical rooms, with free cooling included to improve energy efficiency.
